Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
If you have any questions before or after a sale concerning the items I sell, you are likely to find the answers here. If you have searched through the FAQ and still cannot find your answer, then please contact at the following address: mail@ebookfree.org I will update the FAQ as new questions are asked.
1) What is an Ebook?:- An ebook is an electronic book. They are in electronic format and can be stored on your computer. The most popular format for ebooks is Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) but they can also come in other formats including Word (.doc) and Executable (.exe). To read ebooks you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader software. If you do not have this you can download it free from the following site: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
2) How are your items delivered?:- In order to minimize the download time for users I deliver my items usually in a compressed Winzip (.zip) format. To open files in this format you will need some unzipping software. All my ebooks are delivered instantly upon payment. After you have paid in full for your ebook you will instantly get to the download page. If for some reason you did not receive your ebook then please contact me at the following address: mail@ebookfree.org (Please include proof of payment)
3) What are Resell Rights?:- Resell Rights mean you are allowed to resell the item yourself once you have purchased it. You can resell it on your own website, on CD, through eBay, or many other ways. Some resell rights have limitations which are generally that the item must be sold as a standalone product, or the item must not be sold below $XX. However, most products with resell rights have no limitations meaning you can sell them for any price you choose and in any way you choose.
4) Can I resell your Ebooks?:- You can resell some of the ebooks found on my website. To be sure check each item description for that item's resell rights.
5) How can I pay for the item?:- I only accept PayPal for my digital items. This is because it is the only method that allows me to use my instant download system, and therefore the only way I can deliver ebooks instantly to the customer after purchase. Using only PayPal also streamlines the transactions so that it can be completed much quicker than say paying by cash.
6) I have wrote you an email. Why haven't you replied?:- I reply to all the email that I receive. I usually check my email at least once a day so you should receive your reply at the latest, a day later. If my reply is taking an unusually long time then check your SPAM filters aren't set too high. If they are my email may be in your Junk Email folder so try there.
7) I haven't received my download links and it has been 24 hours. Where are they?:- You receive your download links instantly through PayPal. However if you missed the link please contact me at mail@ebookfree.org (include your PayPal receipt please)
9) I have received my download links for one product, but I purchased multiple products. Where are the rest of my download links?:- Unfortunately due to the way my automated ebook delivery system works, if you purchase multiple products with the same PayPal payment only one download link will be sent out automatically. If you have done this then I will have to send out the rest manually. Please send me an email reminder with the names of the product download links you have not received to mail@ebookfree.org and I will send the rest of the download links out to you manually as soon as I can.
If you are reading this and have not yet purchased multiple products but plan to then there is a way you can receive them all automatically. If you pay for each product in a separate PayPal transaction then each one will be delivered automatically.
10) I have received my download links but they won't work. Why not?:- This is usually caused by Internet Connection Software, Download Managers, Firewalls etc restricting the download. Therefore, if this happens then please disable any software (such as that listed above) which may interfere with the download of your item. If you have done the above and are still unable to download then please contact me here: mail@ebookfree.org
11) I have downloaded the file but it will not open. Why not?:- The file is zipped (compressed) to maximize the speed of the download. It therefore needs to be unzipped so that you can access the zip files. This is relatively easy to do, you just double-click on the file or right-click on it and select Unzip. However, this will only work if you have unzipping software. If the software fails to unzip after you have done all the above then please email me at: mail@ebookfree.org
12) I have unzipped the file but the Adobe Acrobat files won't work. Why not?:- This is likely due to the fact that you don't have Adobe Acrobat Reader Software. This enables your computer to open and read Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) files. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader Software you can download some free from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html If your PDF ebooks still won't open after this then please email me at mail@ebookfree.org
13) I have unzipped the files but the Executable (.exe) Ebooks won't work. Why not?:- This is a relatively recent problem that is caused by Windows XP users installing an update called Service Pack 2. The problem is not caused by my ebooks, it is caused by the update on your computer. If you do not solve this problem it will continue to effect all of your executable (.exe) ebooks. If any of your executable ebooks are not working please send me a blank email mail@ebookfree.org and I will send you some software that will fix the problem at the click of a button.
